LONE STANDARD started as a quiet solution to a familiar challenge.
RETHINKING RECREATIONS
Season after season, we saw series needing recreations—and every time, a new mini-unit had to be built from the ground up: fresh crew, fresh workflows, fresh ways to manage a fragile part of the show under real schedule and budget pressure. It worked, but it was heavy. A lot of smart teams were spending a lot of time
and energy rebuilding the same machine.
The people behind Lone Standard are from two overlapping worlds: scripted studio work, where detail and discipline are non-negotiable, and unscripted series, where casting, story and production management have to hold-up under real world chaos.
Recreations sat at the intersection of those two worlds—
stylized, emotional, and practical.
Lone Standard brings that experience and network into one place.
It exists to be a dedicated recreations unit dropped into
shows that already work. We are a specialized team with a trusted
bench of - crew, vendors, and workflows - built to carry
the recre workload and stay in the background
while your series stays out front.

OUR PEOPLE

Justin Thompson
Founder / Lead Producer
Justin started out in scripted features on projects for A24, Amazon, and Netflix. From creating research packets for writers and fetching coffees for directors, he slowly moved up to “guy with a spreadsheet”— producing tricky locations, period elements, and self-contained units. That studio background baked in a habit of detail and discipline that carried into doc-series work, where he found his lane as
a recreations director and producer.
At Lone Standard, he leads the recre unit with a mix of story-first thinking, creative possibility, and studio-grade paranoia, making sure everyone knows: what’s happening, why it matters, and when they can go home.

Marcella Di Pasquale
Head of Production
Marcella cut her teeth building a viral web series from scratch. She soon after moved into producing and casting both scripted and unscripted shows for Oxygen, Netflix and Hallmark. Over time she became the person everyone CC’d when things got complicated— juggling budgets, schedules, clearances and real people without losing the thread of the story.
At Lone Standard, she runs the production spine of the recre unit—managing the tools and systems the team relies on. She makes sure all the moving pieces stay efficient and compliant, while pushing for the work to stay ambitious (and for the coffee at crafty to meet her unreasonably high standards, for the crew’s sake as much as her own).

Daniela Sanchez Lugo
Line Producer
Daniela came up at the intersection of people and logistics—first in the music-videos, holding the line for artists like Becky G and Bad Bunny, then across features where the stakes grew but the fundamentals stayed the same. She’s the one crews trust when ambition is high and time is short.
At Lone Standard, she handles the numbers and the nuts-and-bolts—so the recre unit can stay bold on screen while the days stay under control. (She’s also the unofficial keeper of reality checks, which the rest of the team has learned to appreciate).
